Summary: The many different demonic spirits across cultures cover a variety of forms and powers. In this case, the good news is that it won't try and possess anything. The bad news is that it can rip you to shreds within seconds, and it does not give up the chase that easily.

History: According to myth, the Brahmaraksha is a horrible demon cursed by the Hindu creator God Brahma to wander the Earth in eternal hunger. One of those monsters has found its way near a newly-opened hotel located close to the forest. Soon, the place becomes a death trap as the demon keeps ruining everything for the guests and the family that made it. It won't be long before the people start to seek a weakness before it kills them all.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: The person tormented the most by the Brahmaraksha manages to get her hands on an enchanted rifle used by another to kill their kind long ago. With the last remaining bullet, she and her companion shoot the thing dead.

Powers/Abilities: The Brahmaraksha cannot be harmed by conventional weaponry.

Weakness: Only weapons doused in the pond waters of Jagatpita Brahma Mandir on the night of Kartik Purnima can harm it.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-It's resemblance to the Venusian Ymir and its near-invulnerability put this Indian monstrosity in an almost favorable spot. But the horrid CGI brings such fright to a halt. Many of the assaults are rendered rather moot by how fake it all looks. Still, it's an uncanny monster.

Trivia: -Brahmarakshas are indeed cursed demons, but they are also the corrupted spirits of Hindu priests, known as Brahmins, that have led a life of debauchery and sin. They are described as aggressive demons that may have the same high intellect they did in life, but also a savage desire to eat people.

-This demon's name comes from the two words "Brahmin" and "Rakshasa", the latter of which is actually the standard Hindu demon, also known as a "man-eater". It is said in some stories that the moment Rakshasas came into being, they tried to eat Brahma himself before Vishnu saved him and banished the monsters to Earth. They were then named after Brahma's cry for help, "rakshama!".
